Peer review
The editor and editorial committee will carry out an initial evaluation of each manuscript in relation to the focus and scope of the journal, in addition to the review through Turnitin, which cannot exceed 15% similarity.
If the submitted manuscript is deemed suitable for peer review, it will be reviewed by two external reviewers from the journal who have no conflicts of interest. The peer review process is double-blind.
Reviewers will submit their recommendations to the journal, providing general and specific comments.
The editor will communicate the result (rejected, accepted or accepted with modifications), including the comments to the author, so that he can make the suggested changes and improvements, or alternatively justify those that he does not consider pertinent. In final version they may be subject to additional peer review if deemed appropriate.
Times: The initial decision is communicated in a maximum of 2 weeks. The double-blind evaluation takes between 45 and 60 days as long as the evaluators agree on their opinion. If an additional referee is needed, an additional 30 days will be required. The final decision remains in the hands of the editor and, in case of disputes, it is decided with the editorial committee.
